Customers Feedbacks
Good stone overall. Color and clarity will satisfy my customer. But the most amazing was the price of only 120$ per carat for a blue zircon of that size, nearly 40 carats. That will make a great center stone for the new necklace.
In 17 years of working as a jeweler I have never seen such a low price. Thank You Gemsfeed, you just made a very happy customer...

Cabochon Ruby 12 products
Cabochon describes the cut that is used for a ruby that is less transparent than faceted gems. The stone has a polished appearance that is rounded and smooth instead of cut into facets that reflect light. They are typically placed in a setting where the gem forms a dome. Star rubies are always polished in cabochon to show a six rays star effect. Cabochon are less valuable than faceted rubies, but some unheated cabochon of large size and good color can command high price. Natural star rubies are also very rare and extremely valuable when combining quality, color and size.
Our cabochon rubies originate mostly from Africa. We do not sell rubies that have been enhanced by any mean apart from the typical low temperature heat treatment, that is accepted as natural by all gemological associations around the world. These loose gemstones are ideal for jewelry mountings in silver or white gold. For any special request or to order calibrated gemstones in quantity, please contact us.
